Blue Razz

Dominant Terpene Limonene 7.30% (.5g) & 7.09% (1g)

Limonene: Limonene can contribute to a strain’s fruity and citrusy aroma. In nature, limonene is found in the rinds of fruits. Limonene may provide uplifting effects that boost mood and promote homeostasis for those with chronic depression. Like all terpenes, limonene has a spectrum of flavor and aroma from bitter (similar to lemon rinds) to sweet (similar to lemonheads).

Dominant Terpenes Pinene, Limonene, Linalool, Caryophyllene
a-Pinene - 2.00% Limonene - 1.89% Linalool - 1.02% b-Caryophyllene - 0.95%

Pinene: Pinene is the same terpene that gives pine trees their iconic aroma. Working as a bronchodilator with similar anti-anxiety, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Pinene may also increase alertness and memory retention.

Linalool: Linalool is perhaps one of the more heavily sedating terpenes found in cannabis. Naturally occurring in lavender, linalool has been used for thousands of years as a sleep aid. Linalool may provide anti-anxiety, stress relieving, muscle relaxant and anti-depressant properties. Linalool is responsible for the floral and spicy aromas you may find in your cannabis.

Caryophyllene: Caryophyllene is a unique terpene as it is the only terpene that has been found to selectively bind to CB2 receptors. Studies have shown that activation at the CB2 receptor site in mice by caryophyllene leads to anti-inflammatory effects.

Myrcene: Perhaps the most common terpene in all of cannabis, myrcene is found in just about every strain. Myrcene has been shown to thin the blood-brain barrier, allowing for more THC to enter the brain at a time. Strains with a b-myrcene content >.5% could potentially help aid in pain relief and offer a sedative effect. It is commonly found in mango, hops, cloves and lemongrass.
