What to Expect at TerraLeaf

Updated: Mar 17, 2022

So, it's your first time visiting a dispensary. Now what?

What To Expect In The Program:
  • Patience is critical in a new legal market. State law requires all medical cannabis sold in West Virginia to be grown in West Virginia.

  • While many have grown in other states legally, no one has legally grown in this environment.

  • Growers will struggle in the first few months to perfect their processes.

  • Testing labs will take much longer while onboarding new growers.

  • Product may be limited in all dispensaries throughout the state.

  • Contact us before you make the trip out if unsure about something. Our number is 304-446-4600.

  • Quality will continue to improve over time.

  • Additional brands will continue to roll out over the next 12-18 months.

  • Specific products will always be inconsistent in cannabis. Agriculture is unpredictable. See guidance from your local dispensary team to match similar products to your needs.

  • Flower will be the largest category of medicine until the market matures. Vaporizer cartridges, tinctures, concentrates, capsules and topicals will be slower and less consistent in the first few months.

We support all of our West Virginia growers and will work closely with them to update you on progress on future harvests.
